Thank you for standing up for kids' mental health!
A big thank you to everyone who supported our second Champion of the Crescent stand up paddle board event! We raised more than $155,000 for kids’ mental health programs serving children and youth from across the Fraser Valley.
Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, EllisDon, and to the many other sponsors, participants and supporters who have made this event such a huge success in only its second year.
Congratulations to California’s Danny Ching, the current world champion, who won the Men’s 10-kilometre Competitive Race, and Candace Appleby for winning the Women’s. To see all of the results, click here.
The 2018 event is set for July 22 at Surrey’s Blackie Spit Park – a fantastic location to enable paddlers of all ages and abilities to get out on the water, as well as provide fun activities for the whole family. We will have competitive adult races and a corporate relay, as well as recreational races for adults and children. Everyone from novices to professionals is welcome.
